DJ Choco Canel – Professional DJ & Music Curator
Sandra “Choco Canel” Bergman Bellqvist is one of Stockholm’s most established and sought-after DJs, with over two decades of experience in music, entertainment and live events. Known for her impeccable musical intuition, distinctive style and ability to read a crowd, she creates unforgettable experiences at weddings, corporate events, exclusive parties and celebrations around the world.
Her career began in the early 2000s behind the decks at Stockholm’s legendary Bar Nada, where she later became Music Director, booking DJs and curating the venue’s musical identity for over a decade. Together with Erik Dellgren, she went on to launch the live music club Send In The Clowns at Pet Sounds, which later moved to Debaser. The club became known for discovering emerging talent, booking artists such as First Aid Kit, Moto Boy and Those Dancing Days before they reached a wider audience.
In 2007, Sandra turned her passion for music and entertainment into a full-time career through her company, Coco Transistor Event AB. Her own live music concept, Coco Transistor Presenterar, brought artists and audiences together at some of Stockholm’s most iconic venues, including Bar Brooklyn, Mosebacke, Lydmar, Haymarket, Tranan and Södra Bar.
She also established the live music program at Fotografiska, where she spent five years as Event and Music Director, before taking on music programming roles at Rival and later Dramatenbaren.
